I am delighted to have been selected from a Request for Quotation by Cavan County Council to facilitate workshops with a group of fifteen participants to celebrate the re-opening of Townhall Arts Space Cavan. The project is funded by PEACE IV.
At this stage of the project, each of the participants has made a figure in clay representing life in Cavan in peace times. Some of the figures are reflective but all are hopeful and positive for the future. In other works the group are exploring the idea of crossing borders and how animals have always moved freely. The group are working collectively to create a series of fun modes of transport to celebrate the freedom of movement we have today.
The artworks will be showcased on Culture Night, 20th September 2019.
