The Society of Portrait Sculptors 56th Annual Exhibition FACE2020 is now live online.
I'm delighted that my entry "Soraya" has been Commended for the Artists' Collecting Society Prize for the best exhibit by an artist from outside of the UK. Furthermore, this year saw the higest ever number of entries from international applicants from over 25 countries.
FACE2020 showcases some of the best and most diverse representations of the art of portrait sculpture. Including traditional and contemporary sculpture techniques and materials, the exhibition shows the intriguing ways in which the sculptor sees and represents the human portrait.
It is a priveledge to exhibit with some of the leading British and international figurative and portrait sculptors, including fellow Irish sculptor, Elizabeth O'Kane.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual exhibition which would normally be held at a gallery in London, is for the first time, online.
